Gary Bunting

Gary Scott Bunting, age 62, of Wethersfield formerly of Meriden and Seymour, beloved partner of 16 years to George W. Bartholomay, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 4, 2013. He was born in Derby,CT on October 6, 1950, the loving son of Allen W. Bunting Sr. of Seymour and the late Sara McLaughlin McCusker Bunting. Gary was a web designer for Humanitects of Milford. He was a former member of the Seymour Congregational Church. He graduated from Clark University of Worcester,MA. Gary enjoyed painting, gardening and boating on Lake Candlewood, also he enjoyed classic cars and loved going to car shows. He will be sadly missed by all and will be forever in our hearts. In addition to his loving father Allen and his beloved partner George his loving family includes several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Allen W. Bunting Jr. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Gary's life will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Rte. 67 across from Klarides Village), Seymour, CT with Reverend Edward F. Cornell III, Pastor of Seymour Congregational Church officiating. Interment in the family plot in Northwest Cemetery, Woodbridge will be private. Friends and relatives may call the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 am.
