Ann "Betty" Valentine

Ann Elizabeth "Betty" Valentine, age 80, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Paul D. Valentine entered into eternal rest at Connecticut Hospice, Branford on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born on February 21, 1932 in Cos Cob, Greenwich,CT., the beloved daughter of the late Charles H. and Anna Irene Kastler Pyne. Betty was a former communicant of Holy Rosary Church, Ansonia. She worked for Pitney Bowes and American Greeting Inc. before her retirement. She was an avid homemaker and longtime Seymour resident. Betty will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Her loving family includes her two loving daughters Cynthia A. Hager of Ansonia, and Debra A. Valentine of Seymour, two caring sisters Virginia Floberg and Carol Pyne both of Bridgeport, a cherished grandson Daniel Hager of Ansonia and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Betty at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Dr., Ansonia (Directly) on Saturday , January 12, 2013 at 9:00 am. Inurnment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery,Ansonia. Memorial gifts may be made in Betty's memory to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford,CT 06405.
