Barbara Ann Uhelsky

Barbara Ann Norton Uhelsky, age 57, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Uhelsky, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was born in Bridgeport on August 1, 1962, loving daughter of the late Ronald and Betty Hallaman Norton. Barb was an Insurance Auditor for the United Health Group for many years. She was a loyal pet owner who treated her pets like they were her own kids and loved animals of all kinds. She was a devoted wife and a wonder person that would do anything for anyone. Barb will be sadly missed by her family and many friends but will remain forever in our hearts. Her loving family includes her brothers William Norton and James Norton and his wife Elizabeth, her sister Cathy Norton and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may pay their final respects on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from noon until 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT.67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour. Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, masks will be required of all who attend and other social distancing requirements will be used. Any additional services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
