Barbara Senger Drugonis, age 79, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Kenneth J. Drugonis, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was born in Derby on February 15, 1942, loving daughter of the late Arthur and Mae Olson Senger. Barbara was a retired Bookkeeper for Isaacson's Department Store in Seymour and had formerly worked for New Haven Copper in Seymour. She was a graduate of Seymour High School and was the niece of Emil Senger, who was the first Seymour resident killed during World War 1. Barbara was an avid homemaker who loved crafts, dogs and reading. She enjoyed boating with her husband Ken, was a fan of the UCONN Lady Huskies and participated in many Emil Senger Post 10 American Legion events. Most of all, Barbara loved to spend time with her family and many friends. She will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts. Barbara's loving family includes her caring daughter Lynne Wozniak of Seymour. She was predeceased by her beloved son Scott C. Drugonis and her beloved son-in-law Matthew Wozniak. Lynne would like to thank all of her Mom's caregivers as well as CT Hospice for their care, help and support. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memory gifts in memory of Barbara may be made to the Emil Senger Post 10 American Legion of Seymour through the funeral home.
