Barbara R. Dombek

Barbara (Salito) Dombek, age 82, of Ft. Worth, Texas, formerly of Oxford, the beloved wife of the late Dennis A. Dombek, entered eternal rest peacefully on Sunday September 3, 2023, at her home. She was born in Bridgeport on June 24, 1941, the daughter of the late Salvatore J. Salito and Josephine (Ladyko) Salito. Barbara was a graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport, CT. She was a longtime administrator for The Visiting Nurse Association of South-Central CT, before retiring after 20 years of service. Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Barbara cherished her beloved family and the time she spent with them. She will be sadly missed by all but will forever remain in our hearts. Her loving family includes her devoted daughter Susan Touponse, three loving grandson Gavin Touponse and his fiance Sarah Coolidge, Bradley Touponse and Kyle Eitapence and his wife Kacie, two cherished great-grandchildren Lily Touponse and Jacob Eitapence and son-in-law Matthew Monteleone. Barbara was predeceased by her beloved daughter Nancy (Dombek) Monteleone and three brothers Matthew, Robert, and Mark. A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held on Saturday , September 30, 2023, at 11:00 am in the chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour.
