Benjamin Ottowell

Benjamin Ottowell, age 69 of Woodbury, beloved husband of the late Mildred (Mingay) Ottowell, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital. Benjamin was born March 19, 1945, in England and was the son of the late Leslie and Margaret (Shanahan) Ottowell. Benjamin worked at Bridgeport Hospital in the Maintenance Department until his retirement. He was a Woodbury resident for the past 13 years. Benjamin was a communicant of St. Theresa Church in Woodbury. He was an avid train spotter and walker and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Benjamin will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts. Benjamin's loving family includes his two devoted brothers Carl Ottowell and Ian Ottowell both of Oxford, and several caring nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a loving brother David Ottowell. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date and time. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Benjamin's memory to The Arthritis Foundation, through the funeral home.
