Bonnie Matthews

Bonnie Gordon Matthews, age 68, of Seymour, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her home. She was born in Lynn, MA on March 25, 1945, daughter of the late John and Genevieve Cossette Gordon. Bonnie was a Home Health Aide with the Woodfield Family Services. She was an avid homemaker who loved to garden, do puzzles, shop and greatly enjoyed her membership to several Valley Senior Centers. Bonnie loved to spend time with her family and many friends and will be sadly missed by all. Her loving family includes daughters Holly Allen and her husband Vaughn of Stratford, Cindy Kiley and her husband Rick of Seymour and Jennifer Matthews of Bridgeport, her eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great nephew. Bonnie was predeceased by her sister Priscilla Ottowell. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Bonnie's Life was held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 with Pastor Jim Wegner of the High Acres Christian Church, Ansonia, officiating. Interment will be private.
