Christopher Charles Jerome Drugonis, age 60, of Seymour, departed from this world on Monday, February 3, 2025. He was born at St. Mary’s Hospital on August 21, 1964 to Arline P. Drugonis (Popikas) and the late Jerome Drugonis. Christopher graduated from Holy Cross High School Waterbury in 1982 and was employed by ACV Republic out of Bridgeport as a Hazardous Waste Transporter. Christopher was very active in the Seymour Community serving as a member of the Seymour Fire Department Great Hill Hose Company for 33 years, the Red Knights Motorcycle Club since 2019 and the CERT Community Emergency Team. He also served on the Town of Seymour’s Board of Assessment Appeals and was a longtime member of Knights of Columbus Auroa Council 53 of Seymour. 

Christopher leaves his daughter Alana Isabella Drugonis, and her mother Annmarie Drugonis, both of Seymour, his mother Arline Drugonis of Pittsfield VT, his brother Matthew Drugonis of Robbinsville NC, his brother-in-law Thomas Wilcox of Robbinsville NC, his uncle Donald Popikas and his wife Sharon and several cousins and friends. He was preceded by his father Jerome Drugonis, his sister Mary Wilcox and his uncle Charles Popikas. 

Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller-Macari Family Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, (Rt 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour, CT 06483. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 12:00 pm (Directly) at Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff St., Ansonia.
