Doris Schuppien "Aunt Doe" Trianovich, age 92, a lifelong Seymour resident, beloved wife of the late John P. Trianovich, passed away peacefully at Griffin Hospital on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Doris was born in Seymour, CT on March 26, 1921, beloved daughter of the late Charles F. Schuppien, Sr. and Charlotte Morgan Schuppien. She was a member of The Immanuel Lutheran Church of Oxford. She was a graduate of Seymour High School. Doris was a secretary for H.C. Cook Company of Ansonia before her retirement in 1959 after working 17 years. She was a member of The Seymour Historical Society and a devoted volunteer for Griffin Hospital Thrift Shop of Derby. Doris was a member and past Matron of The Order of The Eastern Star Olive Chapter # 26 of Seymour. She was also past worthy advisor to the Rainbow Girls. She will be sadly missed by all and will be forever in our hearts. Her loving family includes a Loving Nephew James P. Trianovich and his wife Barbara of Seymour, a Caring Niece Janet Stephens and her husband Colin of Seymour, a cherished goddaughter Lori Limauro of West Haven. Doris also leaves several cousins, great Niece's & Nephews, a special friend Carolyn Reichardt of Seymour and The Callahan Family: Eileen Callahan George and her husband Larry of Florida, Eddy Callahan of Seymour & Kathy Callahan of Texas. She was predeceased by her beloved brother Charles F. Schuppien Jr. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Doris' life will be held on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Rte. 67 across from Klarides Village), Seymour, CT with Reverend Bruce Steinway, Pastor of The Immanuel Lutheran Church of Oxford officiating. Interment in the family plot in Trinity Cemetery, Seymour will follow. Friends and relatives may call the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Doris' memory to The Immanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 25 Great Hill Rd., Oxford, CT 06478.
