Doris Pettibone Trianovich, wife of the late Harry Trianovich, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2010 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness. She was born in Shahola, PA on October 19, 1924, daughter of the late James and Viola Rosenthal Pettibone and step-daughter to the late Grace Palmer. Doris was a secretary and a homemaker. Her loving family includes her devoted son, James P. Trianovich and his wife, Barbara, of Seymour; a caring daughter, Janet Stephens and her husband, Colin, also of Seymour; six cherished grandchildren, Mark, Jennifer, Lori, Megan, Bradford, and Amanda; 18 cherished great grandchildren; her loving brother Harry Sandel and his wife, Helen, of New Jersey; her cherished sisters-in-law, Doris S. Trianovich of Seymour and Arlo Pettibone of Washington; two nieces, one nephew and many cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother James "Budd" Pettibone of Washington and brother-in-law John Trianovich of Seymour. She was a devoted member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oxford. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Services will be private, with the Reverend Bruce Steinway, Pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiating.
