Elizabeth "Liz" Romagna

Elizabeth "Liz" Romagna, 81, of Oxford, CT, passed away on October 28th, 2022. Liz was born on May 20th, 1941 to John William Saville & Mildred Estelle Saville in New Haven, CT. After graduating from Southbury High School in 1959, she went on to be employed as a secretary at Farrel Corporation and sales representative at Southern New England Telephone. While at Farrel Corporation, Liz would eventually meet her husband of 25 years, Guy Romagna. Both Guy and Liz were working in the lab and quickly formed a connection. They married in 1973. Liz and Guy had one child together: Todd and Liz gained three step-children: Guy, Rick, and Gayle. Liz had two grandchildren: Joe and Britt Romagna. Family was incredibly important to Liz and she put forth great efforts to foster a close-knit and supportive home environment. Liz and Guy enjoyed taking their children on an annual family vacation in Charleston, Rhode Island. She was a dedicated mother and wife and was kind to everyone she met. She lived with her step-son, Rick, her son and his wife, Todd and Bridget, and grandson, Joe. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the wildlife in her backyard, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and computer games, watching television (especially NCIS), gardening, and spending time with friends at her favorite restaurants. Liz was predeceased by her parents, John & Mildred Saville, her brother, Jack, her husband, Guy, and her daughter, Gayle. She is survived by her sons Rick, Todd, and Guy; her brother, Pete Saville; her grandchildren, Joe and Britt; and his wife Bridget.
