Ellen Marie Sypniewski Lampart, age 45 , of Milford formerly of Seymour, beloved wife of 19 years to John T. Lampart III, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Milford Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Derby,CT., October 25, 1967, beloved daughter of Raymond J. and Catherine Daunis Sypniewski. She was a communicant of St. Ann Church of Milford and a former communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd of Seymour. She was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, Waterbury, Class of 1985 and Becker Junior College where she was the recipient of an Associate's Degree in Travel and Tourism, Class of 1987. Ellen was a corporate travel consultant for many years. She was a fun loving, happy go lucky girl with a smile that could light up a room. Ellen was an avid UCONN Women's Basketball fan as well as the NY Yankees and enjoyed watching the Food Channel Network and trying out many new recipes. She was a proud member of the George J. Hummel Little League Association which came in 2nd place in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1980 Junior Girls Little League World Series Championship. Ellen's family wishes to thank the caring staff of 3 Memorial West of Milford Hospital for the excellent care given to her while she was a patient in their care. Ellen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her loving family includes her husband John T. Lampart III , her parents Raymond J. and Catherine Daunis Sypniewski of Seymour, her caring sister Jean Banning and her husband David, her mother-in-law Sharon McGuire, her father-in-law John T. Lampart Jr, and his wife Elizabeth, her sister-in-law Jacqueline Geremia and her husband John , godmother Patricia Podgorski , nephew and godson Nicholas Banning, nephew Zachary Geremia, niece Ashley Geremia and several aunts and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Ellen's Life will be celebrated on Thursday, December 13, 2012 (DIRECTLY)at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd. Seymour,CT., with The Reverend Edward S. Jaksina, Pastor as celebrant at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in the family plot in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Friends and relatives may call on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, 'Rte 67' Seymour (opposite Klarides Village). Memorial gifts may be made in Ellen's memory to either The Church of the Good Shepherd Improvement Fund or The Milford Animal Shelter through the funeral home.
