Elsie Elizabeth Beedham Trzcinski, 87, of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Seymour Police Chief, (Ret.) Walter Michael Trzcinski, entered into eternal rest, peacefully, at Shelton Lakes Health Care Center, Shelton, on Sunday, September 4, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Croydon Surrey, England on March 1, 1924, the beloved daughter of the late Bertram and Isabelle Dunlop Beedham. Elsie was formerly employed by Uniroyal Corp. of Naugatuck and Ames Dept. Store of Seymour. She was a devoted volunteer at Griffin Hospital for many years. Elsie was the former Chairwoman of the Seymour Library Board of Directors and was a Teacher's Aide at Seymour High School. She was a former member of the English Club and loved to play Pinochle. Elsie enjoyed gardening, crocheting and knitting, and loved being with her family and many friends. Her loving family includes her caring daughters, Brenda Wagner of Stony Creek, Elizabeth Trzcinski of Terryville, and Barbara Lovisolo and her husband, Carl, of Derby; six cherished grandchildren, Christopher Gregory, Jennifer Moniello, Amy DiCorpo and her husband, Eugene, Jonathon Lovisolo and his fiance Edna Fleming, Gregory Lovisolo and Marc Lovisolo; a cherished great-grandson, Brandon Kelly, and a cherished great-granddaughter, Emma Lovisolo, and two loving nieces Fran McMillan of Brighton, England and Barbara Beedham of Cardiff, Wales. Elise was predeceased by her loving brother Robert Beedham. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Elsie's Life will be held at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, cross from Klarides Village), Seymour on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev Edward Jaksina, Pastor of the Church of the Good Shepherd of Seymour, officiating. Interment will be in the family niche at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour, will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
