Francelia Valmir, age 83, of Oxford, formerly of Brockton, MA. passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Limbe, Haiti on September 1, 1932, daughter of the late Sylphan Valmir and Olympia Cadet. Francelia was a devout member of the Adventist Temple Seventh Day Church of Brockton. She was an avid homemaker who enjoyed cooking, playing cards and dominos, listening to music and dancing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Francelia will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts. Her loving family includes her devoted son Pierre T. Jean-Baptiste of Brooklyn, her twelve cherished grandchildren, her twenty one cherished great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Ismene Valmir and her two sisters Edna and Yvonne Valmir. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Interment will be at Central Cemetery in Randolph, MA on Monday, December 28, 2015 @ 11:00 A.M.
