Gary Ruggiero

Gary Francis Ruggiero, age 48 of Hotchkiss, CO., formerly of Seymour, entered into eternal rest March 15, 2012 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Gary was born in Derby, CT on April 8, 1963, son of the late Frank Nicola Ruggiero and the late Georgia Ruggiero-Stewart. He attended Derby High School and lived in Seymour for many years, before relocating to Florida and then relocating to Colorado in 2007. He enjoyed his life in Colorado; he had a great love of nature and the outdoors. His children and grandchildren were his greatest treasures. Gary will be remembered as a quiet man, with a big heart, that had a great sense of humor and loved a good laugh. He is survived by his older brother, Rory Ruggiero and his wife Linda from Seymour, CT, and his younger sister, Jennifer Stewart from Torrington, CT. Also, his daughter Heather Ruggiero-Harrington and her husband Jimmy, his two sons Brian Ruggiero, from Inverness, FL, and Mitchell Ruggiero, from Hotchkiss, CO., his four granddaughters, Alexis, Gabrielle, Jaye, and Elena from Citrus Springs, Florida and his dear friend, Wendy Kusterer-Willis from Inverness, FL. Gary was predeceased by his son Jason Ruggiero. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Gary's life will be held, Saturday, March 31st at 11:00 am (DIRECTLY) at the Living Springs Christian Fellowship, 141 Great Hill Road, Seymour, with the Pastor Robert Hoyt, officiating.
