Gary Yaeger

Gary Yaeger, age 58, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest on December 5, 2021 at Griffin Hospital after a long, tough battle with colon cancer. He was the beloved son of Allan and Gretchen (Denk) Yaeger. Gary was born on November 18, 1963 in Stamford. He was a 1981 graduate of Seymour High School who received an Associate's Degree from Housatonic Community College and also attended Albertus Magnus College. Gary worked at Caspari, Inc. in Seymour for many years. He loved music, especially Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac and was an avid movie goer. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and many friends. Gary will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts. Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory in addition to his parents are his adored sister Allison (Brad) Bopp, his cherished nieces Peyton and Madison Bopp and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Mass in Celebration of Gary's Life will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Dr., Ansonia. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) in Seymour. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Gary's memory may be made to the Colon Cancer Foundation, 10 Midland Ave, Suite M-06, Port Chester, NY 10573.
