They were married for 44 years and lived in Canaan for 47 years until they moved to Bethany in 2006 to be closer to their grandchildren. Jerry was an avid reader ( loved the Economist magazine), a history buff, had a passion for jazz music and enjoyed a fun party that included a properly made Manhattan. There will be no funeral service or calling hours. Memorial donations may be sent to Sandy Hook School Support Fund, c/o Newtown Savings Bank, 39 Main Street, Newtown, CT 06470.
