James D. Mccoy

James D. McCoy, age 63, of Beacon Falls, the beloved husband of Teresa Sammis-McCoy, entered into eternal rest peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Danbury Regional Hospice. He was born in Riverside, CA on October 3, 1952, son of the late Keith and Jane McCoy. James was a Financial Analyst with the Heritage Development Group of Southbury for over 30 years. He was an avid golfer and the General Manager of the Heritage Village Country Club. James loved all sports, especially football and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the LSU Tigers. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially cherished the time with his daughters and grandchildren. James will be sadly missed by all and will forever remain in our hearts. His family in addition to his beloved wife Teresa includes his loving daughters Courtney Mach, Rachel Kearney and Xiu Xiu Sammis-McCory and his cherished grandchildren Chase, Austin, Raedyn and Abigael. A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of James' life will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:30 am DIRECTLY at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 25 Maple Ave, Beacon Falls. Interment will be private. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour on Sunday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
