Jennie Paprosky, age 93, of Bethany, the beloved wife of the late Constantine Paprosky, passed away peacefully at her home, January 21, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven on February 16, 1918, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Chernosky. Jennie was employed by Uniroyal Chemical in Bethany for over 25 years where she worked as a Green House Technician before she retired. Jennie enjoyed her quite family life surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Bethany Senior Group. In her early years, her vegetable and flower gardens were her pride and joy. Jennie was always at her best when her family was with her. She will be sadly missed by all. Jennie's loving family includes her two daughters, Nadia Correale and her husband Richard and Alice Herrmann, her four grandchildren, Dana Correale and her husband Jeff Sachar, Tracy Catalanotto and her husband Vito, Brian Herrmann and Michael Herrmann and her four great-grandchildren Owen and Ben Sachar, and Eva and Vito Catalanotto. A Funeral Service in celebration of Jennie's life will be held on Wednesday, JANUARY 25, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (across from Klarides Village), Seymour, with the Rev. Patrick Burns, officiating. Interment in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, will follow.
