John A. Kostick Iv

John Albert Kostick IV, of Seymour, age 54, of Seymour the beloved husband of Cynthia (Morin) Kostick, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 23, 2023 at his home. He was born in New Haven, CT., on September 13, 1968, the beloved son of the late John A. and June (Pijar) Kostick, III. John was a member of The New Heights Baptist Church of Newtown. He was a graduate of Emmett O'Brien Technical Class of 1986 and was the recipient of an apprenticeship certificate qualifying him as a Machinist. John had an interest in Mopar Cars and participated in Cruise Nights at Heavenly Donuts in Derby. John will be sadly missed by all but will forever remain in our hearts. In addition to his loving wife Cynthia, he is survived by his devoted son John A. Kostick V and a loving daughter Marya Kostick both of Seymour, his caring brother Jeremy Kostick and his wife Holly of Avon, NC and two cherished nieces Paisley Kostick of Archdale, NC and Airman 1st Class Chloe Kostick of Columbus AFB, Mississippi. A Celebration of Life of John's Life will be held on Saturday Morning, January 28, 2023 at The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (Rt.67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour, at 11:00 am, with The Reverend Zachary Kinsman, Pastor of The New Heights Baptist Church of Newtown, officiating. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Interment in the family plot will follow the service at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to Seymour Pink, through the funeral home.
