John Emilio Coppola Jr.

John Emilio Coppola, Jr., age 67, of Shelton, entered into rest peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Stamford on April 15, 1954, loving son of the late John and Albina Amodio Coppola, Sr. John graduated from Rippowam High School in 1972 and from the University of Connecticut in 1976. He retired after 37 years of service with Pitney Bowes. John loved gardening, his dogs, his cars and enjoyed holidays with the family. He will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts. His loving family includes his sister Joyce Macauda, his nephew Mark Macauda and his wife April Hiscox, his grandnephew James and his long time friend Kathy Kiernan. John was predeceased by his sister Donna Marie Coppola. The family will greet friends on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street in Seymour. Burial will immediately follow at Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Seymour. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in John's memory may be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.
