John Gaudiosi, 69, resident of Bozrah, CT passed away on September 7, 2024.
John was born July 27, 1955 in Bethpage, New York, moving his family to Seymour Connecticut in 1997.
John is the son of the late Jack and Alice Gaudiosi, son in-law of the late Tony and Mary D’Angelo.
John worked as Restaurant Manager at the Olive Garden, Bertucci's and Grimaldi's. After retiring from the restaurant business after 22 years John worked for the Seymour Police Department as parking enforcement.
John enjoyed camping and spending his time at Acorn Acres where he made many friends. John loved spending time with his loving companion Jax and grandpup Harvey.
John was a volunteer firefighter for 50 years – 24 years on Long Island and after moving to Connecticut he spent 26 years volunteering his services at Citizens Engine Fire Company. While at Citizens he was Past President and Vice President. The men and women he served with became second family
John is survived by his wife Stephanie and children Jessica and Gregory
Family and friends will be received on September 14, 2024 from 3 to 7 at Miller Macari Family Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Seymour, CT 06384. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Citizens Engine Fire Company No.2, 26 DeForest Street, Seymour CT 06483.
