John Jack Beardsley Profile Photo

John “Jack” Beardsley, Age 79 of Southbury passed away on 4/28/24 with his dedicated wife of 60 years by his side, holding his hand.

Jack was a lifelong resident of Southbury. He worked as a licensed plumber most of his life and was excellent at his trade, though he would rather be hunting or fishing with his boys. He loved all kinds of racing including motocross, go-karting and especially Nascar. He was very artistic and showed his creativity in many ways, such as drawing, tattooing and gardening. Jack had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. He was meticulous about his appearance - not a hair out of place or wrinkle in his shirt, even when he was just hanging out in his infamous barn with his many good friends. Most of all he loved, and was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his devoted wife Becky Beardsley, his children Jonathan and life partner Danielle, Dana and wife Tara, Hannah Polvere and husband John, his four grandchildren Janey, Rees, Odin and Joey, his brother George Spakowski and sister Cindy Markham. A memorial service will be held (Directly) at the Oxford United Church of Christ, 3 Academy Rd., Oxford, CT., on May 25th at 11:00am. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and The Oxford United Church of Christ Congregational, through the funeral home. …“How’s it goin?”…
