Joseph Daffron, Jr.

Joseph (Jay) Daffron, Jr., age 56, of Oxford, the beloved husband of Ketty Miller Daffron, entered into eternal rest peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at his home. He was born in Greenwich on September 23, 1960, the loving son of Joseph and Katharine Houserman Daffron. Jay was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church of Oxford and was a former resident of Stamford for over 40 years prior to moving to Oxford in 2004. He was a highly skilled Machinist for West-Conn Tool & Die, Inc. Jay enjoyed shooting and also had a passion for cars and took great joy in restoring them. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and many friends. Jay will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts. His loving family in addition to his wife Ketty includes his son Joseph Daffron of Oxford, his daughter Jennifer Cepeda and her husband Jorge of Miami, his sister Ellen Daffron of Seattle, his grandchildren Jorge and Olivia Cepeda and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Jay's Life will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 10:00 am DIRECTLY at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
