Joseph R. Seaman Sr.

Joseph Robert Seaman, Sr., age 61, of Naugatuck, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Backus Hospital, Norwich, CT. Joseph was born in Bridgeport, CT., on November 26, 1961, the beloved son of Joan (Edwards) Seaman of Seymour and the late Andrew Seaman. Joseph was a machinist for the former Hershey Metal of Ansonia. He loved the Beatles, going to flea markets and fairs in New London. He enjoyed fixing cars and spending time with his twin brother Andrew. He will be sadly missed but will forever remain in our hearts. In addition to his beloved mother Joan, Joseph's loving family includes his caring daughter Christina Patchell of Naugatuck, a beloved son Joseph R. Seaman, Jr., of Seymour, his twin brother Andrew Seaman of Seymour and a sister Mary Ann Magda of Ansonia, a cherished granddaughter Kayla Gerhart of Naugatuck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Joseph's memory to the charity of one's choice, through the funeral home. Cemetery Details Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
