Josephine Bedini Pedevillano

Josephine Ann Bedini Pedevillano, age 89 of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Anthony R. Pedevillano, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Apple Rehab of Guilford. She was born January 26, 1923 in Derby, daughter of the late Camillo and Adelchisa Valentini Bedini. Josephine was a devout communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd. She enjoyed her trips to Mohegan Sun Casino. She was an avid homemaker, reader and card player and enjoyed music. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Her loving family includes her caring son Anthony J. Pedevillano and his wife Christine of Guilford, a son-in-law John Curran of Ansonia, a brother Louis Bedini and his wife Catherine of Naugatuck , a sister Elizabeth Sorcinelli and her husband Daniel of Seymour, three cherished grandchildren Michael Pedevillano, Libby O'Neill and Rebecca Mongillo, a cherished great-grandson Rocco Mongillo and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter JoAnna Curran. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, 'Rte 67' Seymour (opposite Klarides Village), with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour. Interment in the family plot at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made in Josephine's memory to the Church of the Good Shepherd Improvement Fund or The Seymour Library, through the funeral home.
