June Stec

June Ann Wheway Stec, age 78, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Stec, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Hospital of St. Raphael of New Haven surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bridgeport on May 19, 1932, beloved daughter of the late Albert Earl and Anna Pekar Wheway. June was a communicant of St. Augustine Church of Seymour. She was a retired employee of The Plastic Molding Company of Seymour. June was a member of the Callahan House Tenants Association and had coached George J. Hummel Little League Softball with Bob Lang. She enjoyed being with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. June's loving family includes her caring sons Jeffrey Stec of Naugatuck and Richard J. Stec, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Beacon Falls, her devoted sister Patricia Wheway of Wolcott, her six cherished grandchildren Amy, Megan, Mikol, Noah, Christina and Courtney, her four cherished great grandchildren Connor, Brooke, Joshua and Keely June and several loving nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her seven brothers Philo, James, Al, Robert, Earl, Clifford and Richard Wheway and her sister Caroline Wheway. Her Funeral Service and Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
