Kathryn P. Stroomer

Kathryn P. Stroomer , age 73 of Ansonia, the beloved significant other of 30 years to Keith Jurow entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 15, 2022 . Kathryn was born in Bridgeport, Ct., on February 28, 1949, the beloved daughter of Cornelius and Kathryn Stroomer. Kathryn graduated from University of Connecticut (Storrs) with a Bachelors of Arts Degree , she then went on to the University of New Haven and received her MBA. Kathryn was an expert technical writer for Sikorsky and became the first female supervisor during her tenor there. During her career she also worked for other local technology firms. She was a longtime regular attendee of Cornerstone Church in Oxford. Kathryn loved music, the theatre and all the arts, and writing children's books. She was an avid tennis and golf fan. Kathryn will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts. In addition to her beloved significant other Keith Jurow of Ansonia , Kathryn is survived by many dear friends and several cousins.
