Loretta A. Arcuri

Loretta (Lorrie) Ann Arcuri, age 66, of Oxford, formerly of Stratford, the beloved wife of Albert Arcuri, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at CT Hospice, Branford. She was born in Bridgeport on June 6, 1957, the beloved daughter of the late Robert J. and Barbara (Fabula ) Imbro. Lorrie graduated from Bunnell High School in Stratford. She continued her education by attending Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Science. Lorrie went on to also receive a Master's Degree in Education from Sacred Heart University. She was a well-loved Teacher at Franklin School in Stratford, prior to her retirement in 2015. Lorrie was the First Lady of Swan Lake Association who enjoyed yoga, gardening and shopping. Most of all, Lorrie loved to spend time with her family and many friends. She will be sadly missed by all, but she will remain forever in our hearts. In addition to her beloved husband Albert, Lorrie's loving family includes her nieces Shannon Marie Chaves and her husband Victor of Oxford and Lisa Marie Urless and her husband Thomas Fung of Hamden, several great nieces, cousins, and special friends. Lorrie was predeceased by her beloved sister Susan Imbro Hubbell. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Lorrie's life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 10:00 am in the chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour with the Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti, Pastor of the Church of the Assumption, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial gifts in Lorrie's memory may be made to The American Diabetes Association, through the funeral home. Cemetery Details Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
