Lorraine Grace Cusano

Lorraine (Lorrie ) Grace Cusano, age 83, of Oxford, formerly of Beacon Falls, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at The Hearth of Southbury. She was born in Bridgeport on April 20, 1932, beloved daughter of the late Fanny Gay Phillips. Lorrie was a communicant of St. Michael Church of Beacon Falls. She was formerly employed as a PC Controller for the former Burndy Corporation of Norwalk. Lorrie attended Connecticut College and was a member of the Beacon Falls Senior Center and the David S. Miles Post 174 American Legion of Oxford Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid homemaker who enjoyed walking and making ceramics. Lorrie will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts. Lorrie leaves her three beloved cousins Ralph Nuzzo of New Haven, Augustine Agrizzo and Arlene Agrizzo, both of Beacon Falls and her cherished friends Irene Williams of Wolcott, Betty Hunter of East Haven and Doris Jacobs of Florida. She was predeceased by her dear friends Patricia Keckler and Rene Wheeler. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Lorrie's life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 9:00 am in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 am at St. Michael Church, 25 Maple Ave, Beacon Falls. Interment in the family plot at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven will follow. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Thursday, July 16 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
