Maddalene D. Buonitati

Maddalene Dora Buonitati, age 91, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Spring Village Assisted Living , Stratford. She was born in Bridgeport, September 5, 1931, the loving daughter of the late Daniel and Nicolina Caccavella Buonitati, Sr. She was a VH Planner for 40 years at Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford. She loved making ceramics, shopping and enjoyed many cruises. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and many friends. She will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts. Her loving family includes her brother Gino Bontatibus (AnnaMae) of Shelton, a godson Anthony Gambardella of New Jersey, two caring nephews Daniel A. Staffieri ( Dondi ) of Seymour and Joseph Staffieri , III of Ansonia, best friend Anna Gambaradella of Orange, three nieces Lori Hartman (Bill) of Shelton, Michelle Pyatak (Dan) of Shelton and Linda Burney of Georgia, several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Daniel (Buck) Bonitatibus Jr, Russell Bonitatibus, a sister Antoinette (Bonnie) Staffieri. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) in Seymour. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00pm with Reverend Thomas Cieslikowski, Pastor of The Church of the Good Shepherd of St. Nicholas Parish. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Maddalene's memory may be made to The Church of the Good Shepherd of St. Nicholas Parish, through the funeral home. Cemetery Details Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
