Marie Bridget O'Dell

Marie Bridget Mooney O'Dell, 89, of Seymour, died peacefully at Griffin Hospital in Derby Saturday after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her beloved husband James K. O'Dell and siblings William Mooney and John Mooney. Marie is survived by her children Mary Ann (Thomas) Meehan of Burlington, Kevin O'Dell of Seymour, James (Anne) O'Dell of Beacon Falls, and John (Janet) O'Dell of Cheshire; grandchildren Brendan and Bridget Meehan; Jack O'Dell, and Patrick and Andrew O'Dell, and a large extended family, including cherished siblings Ann Rushley of Columbus, Ohio, Betty Barone, Lillian Moore and Thomas Mooney, all of Hamden. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Marie's life will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 10:00 am DIRECTLY at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave, Seymour. Interment will be in the family plot at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour on Tuesday April 14 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
