Marilyn Eye-Twigg

Marilyn Eye-Twigg, 49, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Derby on November 22, 1965 and was a long time Shelton resident. Marilyn was a kind and generous person who gave freely of herself to help anyone. She enjoyed nature, gardening, family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all. Her loving family includes her parents John and Irene Najda, her precious children Thomas A. Twigg, III and Tamra Ashley Twigg whom she loved beyond life itself, a brother Joseph Eye, a sister Deborah Steller and many other beloved friends and family. Marilyn was predeceased by her father Vernard Eye. The family would like to especially thank the team of doctors and nurses on Floor 7-1 and 6-2 for the loving care they provided for Marilyn. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour, on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Interment in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour will be in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the education costs of the children may be made through the funeral director.
