Marilyn Gambardella

Marilyn June Gillingham Gambardella, age 75 of Bethany entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Glendale Healthcare Center of Naugatuck. Marilyn was born in Milford, on June 1, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Florence Burr Gillingham. Marilyn was a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford. She was an avid horseback rider and enjoyed barrel racing. Marilyn was a member of the Bethany Senior Center. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Glendale Healthcare Center for their kind and compassionate care of Marilyn. Her loving family includes her caring sister Janet Norton of Beacon Falls, a cherished niece Robin Norton and her husband Chip of Bethany with whom she resided, two loving nephews Michael Norton of Beacon Falls and James Norton of Naugatuck, a devoted niece Bonnie Maciejko and her husband Robert of Oxford, and several loving great-nephews and great-nieces. A Graveside Service in Celebration of Marilyn's Life will be held (Directly) at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Carrington Cemetery, Rainbow Rd., Bethany,CT with Reverend Peter Stebinger officiating.
