Marilyn Veillette

Marilyn Veillette, age 81, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late James Veillette, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at The Lutheran Home in Southbury. She was born in Brooklyn, NY., on October 4, 1940. Her loving family includes her son Jay Veillette and his wife Mary, her daughter Judith DeWolfe and her husband Mark and her cherished grandchildren Kelsey Veillette, Ali DeWolfe, Andy DeWolfe and Jake Veillette, and her great-grandson, Kolt, who were her pride and joy. Marilyn's family would like to thank the staff at the Lutheran Home for taking such good care of her. From the nurses, aides, recreation department, Pastor Leo and, honestly, all of the staff. She felt at home there and enjoyed telling everyone she could how perfect she had it always saying, "I don't have to cook, clean or do laundry, what more can I ask for". Because of your care, commitment and kindness we know that mom was safe, happy and content. All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial gifts in Marilyn's memory may be made to Dementia Society of America. Cemetery Details Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
