Mary Cline

Mary Theresa Lawrence Cline age 87, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Robert Stanley Cline Jr. for 54 years, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Middlebrook Farms of Trumbull. Born in Bridgeport,Ct., on March 30, 1925 the daughter of the late Arthur and Agnes Larkin Lawrence. She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church of Huntington. She was an avid homemaker. Mary was a loving mother, foster mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary enjoyed hiking, camping and gardening. Her loving family includes her four devoted daughters Mary Ellen Deegan and her husband Robert of Monroe, Kathleen Nichols and her husband Stuart of Shelton, Eliza Svehlak and her husband Joseph of Waterbury and Virginia Killian and her husband William of Stratford, two caring sons Gerald Cline and his wife Carol of Beacon Falls, and Robert S. Cline III of Shelton, twenty-five loving grandchildren and thirty-two cherished great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by three brothers Arthur Lawrence, Edwin Lawrence and Cyril Lawrence, five sisters Marcella Dzubin, Ruth May, Gertrude Julia Rooney, Irene Talcik and Dorothy Rooney. Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, 'Rte 67' Seymour (opposite Klarides Village). Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton will be held at the convenience of the family.
