Melanie Louise Yustin Brezicki

Melanie Louise Yustin Brezicki passed away on September 13, 2022 at Griffin Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 4, 1987 to her loving parents, the late Louis Byrne Yustin and Patricia Jean Yustin. Melanie was a graduate of Seymour High School, where she met friends that she kept through her lifetime. She was a lover of all kinds of music from The Backstreet Boys to Corey Taylor. She was a huge fan of the Twilight series, along with all thing's vampire and horror. Melanie was a big Disney fan, especially The Nightmare Before Christmas and Winnie the Pooh. She acquired the nickname "Pooh Bear" when she was a baby. Mel has a tattoo of Tigger in a police hat and badge #203 in honor of her Daddy, who's loving arms she is in right now. Melanie will be sadly missed by all, but will remain forever in our hearts. Melanie's loving family in addition to her mom Patricia includes her sister, KellyJo Yustin, her brother, Jeremy John Yustin, her nephew, Noah Louis Yustin, and her husband, Robert Edward Brezicki. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved very much. Melanie was predeceased by her grandparents John and Josephine Yustin, and Lloyd and Florence Simmons. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Melanie's life will be held at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) in Seymour on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 10:30 am. Interment in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Seymour will follow where she will be laid to rest right next to her father.
