Odalia H. Navarrete, 65, of Ansonia, wife of Jose Navarrete entered into rest on Friday November 29, 2013 at her home peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ecuador on December 27, 1947 daughter of the late Gerardo and Maria Villacis Avila. Odalia was a dress designer and was the owner of Odalia Fashions of Bridgeport. She loved to dance, sing and cook. She loved being with her family and friends. Her loving family includes in addition to her husband Jose, her four sons Pabel Guzman (Jaqueline) of Derby, Igor Guzman (Veronica) of Ecuador, Gerardo Guzman (Elizabeth) of Ansonia, Wilson Lopez (Alexandra) of Ansonia, and a daughter Edith Falconi (Fabian) of Ansonia and her brothers Marco Avila (Lillian) of Ansonia and Edgar Avila (Fanny) of New York City, NY and her sisters Grecia Avila and Magdelena Avila both of Ecuador, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass in celebration of Odalia's life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 430 Coram Avenue, Shelton. Following the Mass the family cordially invites you to a reception to be held at the Villa Bianca Restaurant, 312 Roosevelt Dr. Seymour.
