Olga (Skolozdra) Terwilliger of Oxford, CT completed her courageous life journey to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Olga was born January 12, 1947, in Munich, Germany immigrating to the US when she was 3 years old; daughter of the late Stefan and Sophie (Kustodowicz) Skolozdra. She grew up in Bridgeport, CT and graduated from Warren Harding High School in 1965. Olga married her husband Edward in 1968 and living together in Oxford, CT for 51 years. She was proud of her Ukrainian heritage and a dedicated member of the Oxford United Church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafting, cooking, baking, playing games and most of all spending time with family and friends. As a long time, employee of the Oxford Board of Education she retired the secretary to the business manager in 2016. Olga is survived by her loving husband of nearly 55 years Edward Terwilliger, daughter Ellen Terwilliger, son David (Robin) Terwilliger, grandchildren Saylor and Rowan Terwilliger, brother Steve (Robin) Skolozdra and an uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother Roman Skolozdra. Friends may greet the family on Saturday, February 11 from 3pm - 6pm at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (RT.67, Across from Klarides Village) in Seymour, CT. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, February 13 at Oxford United Church of Christ, 3 Academy Rd. in Oxford, CT. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The family requests in lieu of flowers to send donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Colon Cancer Coalition or Oxford United Church of Christ, through the funeral home.
