Oscar Perez

Oscar Perez born on October 10, 1924, in Havana, Cuba, passed away on March 27, 2024, in Woodbury, Ct., at the age of 99, he was the beloved husband of Debra Boyers Perez. He was a talented individual who excelled in various fields throughout his life.

Oscar had a successful career working at Kerite Company and Vigues Art Studio. His passion for music, art, and politics was evident to all who knew him. He was known to be the life of the party, a great singer, guitarist, and artist. Oscar was a devoted husband and father, leaving a lasting impact on his loved ones.

His loving family, in addition to his wife Debra, includes his children Oscar Perez, Jr. (Genia), Blanca Joshnick (Bill), Alessandro Boldini Perez, Angela Ribas(Rick), Adriana Perez St.Cyr (David), Anna Maria Florio (Billy) and Carlos Perez, many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A ceremony to honor and remember Oscar will be held at The Miller-Macari Family Funeral Home, 260 Bank St., Seymour, Ct., on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, with a Celebration of Oscar's life beginning at 3:30 pm, with Pastor Garrett Walkup, officiating. The funeral home is assisting with the arrangements for his passing.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any charity for animals in memory of Oscar Perez. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
