Pasquale A. Ragaini

Pasquale A. Ragaini, age 90, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 7, 2022, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a beloved husband of fifty-nine years to the late Marlene E. (Scholz) Ragaini. Pasquale was born on June 30, 1932 and lived in Ansonia, CT most of his life. He was the son of the late Giovanni and Adeline Letizi Ragaini. Pasquale was self-employed at Modern Display until his retirement at the age of 84. He was very athletic in his younger years. He enjoyed playing softball, tennis and basketball. His favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren play sports and spent much time camping with them. Holidays were a must with his beloved family. Pasquale will be sadly missed by his family and many friends but will remain forever in their hearts. He leaves his cherished memories to his loving son and best friend, William (Bill) J. Ragaini and his partner Amy Landan of Seymour, his daughter Denise J. Pokrywka of Seymour, his sister Evelyn Dorosh of Beacon Falls, his cherished Grandchildren Seth J. Ragaini of NY, Sara A. Ragaini of Seymour, Anthony P. Ragaini of DC, Peter W. Ragaini of Seymour, Bill P. Ragaini and Bennett A. Pokrywka. As well as many beloved nieces and nephews, including a special niece who he had loved dearly, Barbara J. Hart of Ansonia. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter-in-law Donna Ragaini, his brothers Siegelfredo, August and Ottavio Ragaini and his sisters Mafalda Ragaini, Viola Tontini, Ann Uluski, Mary Macri and Zena Fasciano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 am DIRECTLY at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive, Ansonia. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour, on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Memorial Donations in memory of Pasquale may be made to the George J. Hummel Little League through the funeral home. The family would like to say a very special thank you to Pasquale's nurse Kaitlyn Osteyee of Vitas Healthcare for her warmth, comfort and wonderful care, not only to him but to his family, especially in his last moments.
