Philip D. Christie , age 64, of Seymour, the beloved partner of Veronica Adamicki Christie, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was born on June 21, 1953, the son of the late Joan Walleisa Christie. Philip worked for Oxford Lumber Company for 30 years. He very much enjoyed working on all kinds of electronic equipment and computers. Philip will be sadly missed by all and will remain in our hearts forever. In addition to his beloved partner Veronica , Philip is survived by his devoted daughter Jennifer Christie Blair of Seymour and his loving grand-pup Misha. A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Philip's Life will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10:30 am DIRECTLY at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church , 146 Main St. S, Woodbury. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions in memory of Philip may be made to his daughter Jennifer Blair to assist with the funeral expenses, through the funeral home.
