Raymond J. Cox, Sr.

Raymond J. Cox, Sr., age 75, of Naugatuck, the beloved husband of the late Faith Cox, entered into rest peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019. He was born in Bridgeport on September 4, 1943, son of the late Raymond and Wanda Cox. Raymond's love and zest for life were evident to everyone who knew him. A younger Raymond was an avid hunter who enjoyed many a storied time in the woods of Vermont. He never failed to entertain with the stories of his youth with his faithful friends. Raymond will be sadly missed by his family and many friends but will remain forever in our hearts. His loving family includes his three sons, Anthony Cox (Kimberly), Daniel Cox (Christina) and Richard Cox, his two grandchildren Amber Stevens and Kylie Cox, his best friend (Uncle Lou) Louis Santillil (Mary Lou) and several cousins. Raymond was predeceased by his beloved son Raymond Cox, Jr. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Raymond's Life will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St.(RT 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour. Friends and relatives may call on Friday night from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. All other services are private.
