Robert A. Uhelsky

Robert A. Uhelsky, age 61, of Seymour, the loving husband to Barb Norton Uhelsky, entered into rest peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2020. He was born in Derby on July 1, 1958, loving son of the late Andrew and Harriett Fischer Uhelsky. Bobby loved to fish and you would find him on his boat just about every weekend in the summer. He was a avid NY Giant and Yankee fan who enjoyed playing poker with his friends on Friday nights. Bobby worked at Precision in Seymour for many years. He was a loyal pet owner who treated his pets like they where his own kids and loved animals of all kinds. Bobby was a great man who would do anything for anyone. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends but will remain forever in our hearts. His loving family in addition to his wife Barb includes his two sisters Kathryn Sokolowski and her husband Peter of Florida and Jane Frosceno and her husband Jeffrey of Seymour, his nephews Andrew Frosceno and Frank Frosceno of Seymour, his niece Jennifer Sokolowski and nephew Brian Sokolowski of Florida, his brother in law James Corbett of Florida, his great nieces, great nephew, many cousins and lots of friends. Bobby was predeceased by his sister Diane Corbett. Friends and relatives may pay their final respects on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from noon until 4:00 pm in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour. All other services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Bobby's memory may be made to Coco's Animal Rescue Efforts of Seymour (CARES) through the funeral home.
