Rosemarie Madgett

Rosemarie Kearney Madgett, age 82, of Medford, Long Island, NY, formerly of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Clarence Madgett, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Monday, September, 24, 2012. She was born on February 1, 1930 in Pittston,Pa., the beloved daughter of the late John and Marie Granahan Kearney. In 1970 she retired as an office cashier with Republic Aircraft Corp. of Farmingdale, L.I.,NY. She moved from Selden, L.I., NY in 1971 and resided in Seymour for 23 years. She has resided in Medford, L.I.,NY for the past 10 years. She was a communicant of St. Anthony Church of Ansonia, she was an avid homemaker, and loved being with her family , friends and especially her beloved husband Clarence. Rosemarie loved fine dining with her husband Clarence. Her loving family includes her two caring sisters Ann Tenaglia and her husband Tony of Levittown,Pa.and Sheila Cain and her husband Donald of Selden, L.I., NY , her cherished nephews Phillip and Tony Tenaglia and Glenn, Steven, David, Darrin, and Marc Cain, and her two loving nieces Ann Marie and Patti Tenaglia. She was predeceased by her beloved brother Jack Kearney. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church,199 North Main St., Ansonia (Directly) on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 9:00 am. Inurnment will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour. Memorial gifts may be made in Rosemarie's memory to St. Anthony Church, through the funeral director. Previous Events Inurnment OCT 13.
