Sandra M. Storchak

Sandra M. Storchak, 82, of Naugatuck formerly of Seymour, CT, the beloved wife of the late Nicholas H. Storchak, Sr., entered into eternal rest peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on December 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born in Derby, CT., on June 6, 1941, the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (D'Urbano)Gabriel. Sandra was a devout communicant of Church of the Good Shepherd of St. Nicholas Parish. She was a long-time employee at Able Wire of Naugatuck. Most recently she worked as a cashier at Walmart. Sandra enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing bingo and Yahtzee, challenging her mind watching the game show channel, and enjoyed NFL and the New York Yankees games. Sandra will be sadly missed by all but will forever remain in our hearts. Sandra's loving family includes her loving daughter Lisa (Bill) Steinis of Naugatuck, her two cherished grandchildren Ashley Steinis of Bristol and Tyler Steinis of Southington. She was predeceased by her beloved son Nicholas H. Storchak, Jr. and five siblings. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Friday Morning December 29, 2023, at The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour from 8:00 am until 9:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 am at Church of the Good Shepherd of St. Nicholas Parish, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour, CT. Interment in the family plot will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Memorial Donations in Sandra's memory may be made to St. Nicholas Parish, through the funeral home.
