Stanley Gould "Stosh, age 69 of Oxford. Born October 10, 1952 passed away on July 28, 2022. A tribute to Stosh by Chuck Fisher. I have contemplated this story for a few days now as Stosh lay in that hospital bed waiting for that bus to fill up so he could drive it straight to the next party in the afterlife because there is no doubt that is exactly why he hung on for so long ... if you knew this man then you would understand, a big burly man who would immediately infect your soul with laughter and fun, the party started the moment you met him and it never ended. It didn't make a difference if you were a school teacher or a hardened criminal, after only a short while of knowing this man you would be led straight down the path of deprivation and degradation and you would look forward to the next antic. Stosh is the guy your parents warned you about and when he found this out he would invite your parents to the party. If you had the pleasure of knowing this man then you have been blessed. No matter how bad things may become in your life, or during those times you may find yourself questioning the meaning of it all, then you will always have him sitting over your shoulder with that infectious laugh of his babbling about something that cannot be written here.. Stosh was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Lyneth only a few weeks ago and I am sure that is only because Lyneth was not about to miss the bus trip to the next party with him. After all Stosh is driving this Bus and he would have told her to hitch a ride. Stosh leaves behind several brothers and a sister, but in reality everyone who knew him immediately became his brother, sister, niece or nephew, but most of all they immediately became his friend … most importantly he leaves behind his beloved dog Autumn. He left this world just as expected with you scratching your head as if you just walked out of a real life episode of the TV show South Park that you never wanted to end. If there was ever a role model of living the American Dream, Stosh was that role model. He lived life to the fullest and if you were lucky enough to be a part of it then always remember Stosh is not gone. He is a part of you now, so keep the party going and carry on with the laughter, because one day you will meet again and Stosh will be standing there awaiting your arrival with a deep belly laugh saying "Coming in Hot" as you brought the bus to a screaming halt while crashing through the gates of the next party.
