Stasia Supranovich

Stasia Grusz Supranovich, age 99, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Walter Supranovich, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Shady Knoll Healthcare of Seymour. She was born in Pine Island, NY on May 26, 1913, the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Kalbarczyk Grusz. Stasia was an avid reader and loved to crochet. She was a former employee of the US Rubber Company. Stasia was a devout communicant of St. Augustine Church. She is survived by her brothers Henry Grusz, Mitchell Grusz, Casimir Grusz (Eva), Walter Grusz (Irene) and Joseph Grusz, her sister Eleanor Wasko and several nieces and nephews. Stasia was predeceased by her eight siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave, Seymour. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Friends and relatives my call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (Rt. 67), Seymour on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.
