Theodore W. Urless

Theodore (Ted) W. Urless, age 70, of Ansonia, the beloved husband of the late Cynthia Arcuri Urless, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at his home. He was born in Derby on August 2, 1951, the loving son of the late Theodore and Violet Urless. Ted was a communicant of The Church of the Assumption of Ansonia. He was a graduate of Ansonia High School. Ted was a retired Mechanic and worked for Yale Industrial Trucks of North Haven for many years. He loved fishing at Swan Lake and loved taking his faithful companion, his dog Daisy May for walks. Ted especially loved family dinners and cookouts. Ted could fix anything, and loved being with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all, but will forever be in our hearts. Ted is survived by his two daughters Shannon Marie Chaves and her husband Victor of Oxford and Lisa Marie Urless and her husband Thomas Fung of Hamden, a sister Patty Nesteruk and her husband Warren of Ridgefield, three cherished grandchildren Sofia, Layla, and Eleanor and several nieces and nephews. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Ted's memory may be made to the Ansonia Animal Shelter through the funeral home.
