Thomas Donald Beaumonte

Thomas Donald Beaumonte, age 80, of Oxford, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 6, 1938, beloved son of the late Dominick and Mary Pinto Beaumonte. Tom retired as Vice President of Sales for the Data Device Corporation of Smithtown, LI and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. He loved building radio controlled model airplanes and was a avid golfer who played frequently. Tom enjoyed doing carpentry and woodworking as a hobby, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed fellowship with his breakfast friends at Fritz's Snack Bar in Oxford. He loved spending time with his family and many friends, especially his cherished grandchildren. Tom will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts. His loving family includes his son Thomas G. Beaumonte and his wife Marie of Westport, his three brothers Frank Beaumonte of Norwalk, CA, Salvatore Beaumonte and his wife Janet of Las Vegas and Nick Beaumonte and his wife Heidi of Arizona and his two cherished grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his sister Rose Vuolo and his brother Joseph Beaumonte. A Memorial Mass in Celebration of Tom's Life will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Interment will be private. There will be no visitation. Memorial gifts in Tom's memory may be made to ASPCA or the Wounded Warrior Project through the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Seymour, CT 06483.
